Practical design support
Design plays an important role in how cards and carriers look, feel and perform, but it also needs to work in production. At Certus, our design services are focused on ensuring artwork is accurate, print-ready and suited to card manufacture, personalisation and fulfilment.
We work as an extension of your team, supporting existing brands and campaigns with practical design expertise that is grounded in the realities of card production.
Supplying your own artwork
When artwork is supplied by customers or their appointed agencies, our role is to review, check and prepare it for production, ensuring it prints correctly, personalises accurately and meets card and carrier requirements before printing begins.
We provide templates and technical guidance to support this process. Where designs include specialist finishes such as spot UV, foiling or layered effects, our designers ensure these are specified correctly and applied in a way that works with the chosen materials and production methods.
Creating eye catching cards
Where customers have established brand guidelines or campaign creative or promotional assets, our designers can translate them into effective card and carrier designs. This includes adapting creative across different formats, layouts and finishes, and presenting options that show how a campaign can work on a physical card or carrier.
Ensuring Quality Print
Accurate colour reproduction is essential in card production, particularly where cards and carriers need to match. Our design team works closely with production to specify colours correctly and support consistent reproduction across materials, finishes and print processes.
